Pre-procedure Overview

1. One Week Before

  • Avoid lash serums (such as Latisse) for at least 7 days prior — they increase sensitivity and bleeding.
  • Stop using retinol, glycolic acid, and exfoliating products around the eyes.
  • Do not schedule facials, chemical peels, or laser treatments close to your procedure.
  • If you wear eyelash extensions, please have them professionally removed at least 48 hours before your appointment.

2. 24–48 Hours Before

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) unless prescribed by your doctor. These can increase bleeding and reduce pigment retention.
  • Refrain from using waterproof mascara or eyeliner right before your appointment — it can leave residue that affects pigment placement.
  • You may take an antihistamine (like Benadryl) before your procedure to minimize swelling and watery eyes. Always follow product directions or consult your doctor if unsure.

👁️ 3. The Day of Your Appointment

  • Pro Tip: Taking an over-the-counter antihistamine (like Benadryl) before your appointment may help minimize swelling and reduce watery eyes during the procedure. Always follow product directions and consult your doctor if unsure
  • Arrive with clean eyes — no mascara, eyeliner, or lash products.
  • Do not wear contact lenses during the procedure. Bring your glasses if you need them for vision.
  • Avoid wearing heavy makeup or using oil-based moisturizers around the eye area.
  • Eat a light meal beforehand to help you feel comfortable and relaxed.
  • Plan for mild swelling afterward; it’s best not to schedule major events the same day.

💧 4. After Your Appointment

  • Your eyes may feel slightly puffy or tight for 24–48 hours — this is normal.
  • Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying makeup directly on the area until healed.
  • Follow the detailed aftercare instructions provided by your artist for best results.
  • During the procedure: A topical anesthetic is applied to keep you comfortable. Slight sensations of pressure or vibration around the lash line are normal.
  • Immediately after: Your eyeliner will appear darker and thicker for the first few days, gradually softening as it heals.
  • Healing time: Initial healing typically takes 7–10 days, with full color settling in about 4–6 weeks.
  • Touch-up: A perfecting session is usually recommended at 6–8 weeks to refine color and shape once the skin has fully healed.

Mild swelling, tightness, or tenderness are common and usually resolve within 24–48 hours.

Procedure Day Overview

1

Step One: Consultation & Design

All procedure appointments include a consultation. Complimentary consultations are also offered as a separate appointment.

2

Step Two: Application Process

Consultation and Design

Every appointment begins with a detailed consultation. We’ll discuss your desired look — from a subtle lash enhancement (for natural definition) to a more defined or winged style.
Your eye shape, skin type, and personal preferences are considered to ensure the design flatters your features.
We’ll also review any contraindications, pre-care instructions, and answer your questions before starting.

🧴 Preparation and Numbing

The area is cleansed with alcohol, and a topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort.
Most clients describe the feeling as a light vibration or gentle tickle along the lash line rather than pain.
Fresh, single-use sterile needles and pigments are always used for each client.

🎨 Pigment Implantation

Using a precision tattoo device designed for cosmetic application, pigment is gently implanted along the lash line.
We work slowly and carefully to achieve even color saturation and a smooth, symmetrical line.
You’ll have the opportunity to check the shape and thickness as we go to ensure you love the result.

During the procedure: A topical anesthetic is applied to keep you comfortable. Slight sensations of pressure or vibration around the lash line are normal.

Step Three: Healing & Aftercare

Immediate Aftercare

Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying makeup directly on the area until healed.

Mild swelling, tightness, or tenderness are common and usually resolve within 24–48 hours.

A thin layer of Vaseline will be applied .
Your eyeliner will appear slightly darker and bolder for the first few days — this is normal and will soften as the skin heals.
Cool compresses can help soothe the area (avoid ice directly on skin).

Healing typically takes 7–10 days, during which light flaking or fading is normal.
The true color will appear once your skin fully regenerates, about 4–6 weeks post-procedure.
A followup session may be scheduled at 6–8 weeks to refine shape and color for lasting, even results.

Follow essential aftercare guidelines to ensure optimal healing, maintain pigment vibrancy, and enjoy your refreshed, elegant look.
